Lask has lost a promising talent in Armin Haider to SKU Amstetten. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who has already gained Bundesliga minutes with Lask, will now be active in the 2nd league. Amstetten's sporting director Thomas Gebauer describes Haider as dynamic and ambitious, making him an ideal addition to the team. Haider, who progressed through Lask's academy, made his Bundesliga debut in 2024 against SK Rapid. In the past season, he was part of the LASK professional squad four times but did not see any playing time. Despite this challenge, he showcased his great potential in the Regionalliga Mitte with six goals and five assists in 16 matches. The three-time ÖFB U18 national player expressed his excitement about moving to Amstetten, emphasizing that he looks forward to working with the new coaching staff and his teammates. Haider is convinced that Amstetten will provide him with the opportunity to develop further and take on responsibility.
