LASK has won the Austrian Football Bundesliga title with a 3-0 win over Austria Wien, ending a 61-year drought. The Linzer ASK has secured the championship with a 3-0 victory over Austria Wien. LASK has won the title for the first time since 1965. The team, led by coach Dietmar Kühbauer, has overcome a difficult start to the season and has now achieved the double, winning the ÖFB-Cup. Saša Kalajdžić was instrumental in all three goals that led to the win. RB Salzburg has finished third, which is the worst result for the club since it was taken over by the Red Bull Corporation. This is the third season in a row that RB Salzburg has not won the title, after 14 championships and nine cup wins in the past 19 years.
