Lask has appointed 51-year-old Dutchman Alex Kroes as its new vice president. The former technical director of Ajax Amsterdam was most recently active at AZ Alkmaar. Kroes brings his international experience and his network in European top football with him. "His international experience and his extensive network in European top football are now part of LASK", it says in the press release from the steel city club. LASK President Christoph Königslehner is convinced that Kroes can take LASK further forward. "It's fantastic that we've managed to win someone like Alex Kroes, who knows European football from the inside", says Königslehner. Kroes himself is enthusiastic about his new task: "LASK has proven that it can do more than Austria. I want to shape this path - with my experience and my contacts in Europe", says Kroes.
